Tickets in. Things out.
Every machine on the arcade deck pays tickets for how well you played, never for how much you spent. Trade them here. The prices are not invented — each one is the prize’s landed cost divided by what a ticket is allowed to be worth, and both numbers are printed below.

How a ticket is priced.
Worked through: a vessel that costs us $8.00 lands at 640 tickets. At an average of five tickets a run that is about 128 plays, or $32 of quarters — four times what the vessel cost. That is the 300% margin over cost, and it holds for every row in the table because every row is priced by the same division.
Why skill pays and money does not
Tickets are only earned by playing, and a great run pays roughly twice a poor one — not twenty times. That keeps the payout predictable enough to price against, while still rewarding someone who actually gets good at the machine.
Why there are no freebies
Free plays would pay tickets for nothing, and the whole table would stop adding up. Some machines are free on the rotation, and those pay tickets at a reduced rate for exactly that reason — the counter is funded by quarters, not by goodwill.
Costs shown are landed unit costs and are the numbers the prices are calculated from. If a cost changes, the tickets change with it — the ratio is fixed, the prices are not.
Claiming
Claiming subtracts the tickets and issues a claim code on this device. Bring that code to checkout — a member of the crew matches it to a discount and the prize ships with your next order, or on its own if that is all you want.
Straight about the rails
Tickets live in this browser today. That means a new phone is a fresh start, and it means the honour system is doing real work until the ledger moves to the server side. Claim codes are logged with the station when they are issued at checkout, not before.
